Singing teacher

Kirsten Buhl Møller first studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen and then later pursued further studies in London with Thomas Hemsley and in New York with Oren Brown. After graduating from the Academy she has been singing many different roles at the Danish National Opera. Her performances as Cherubino, Dorabella, Cenerentola, Orlovsky and Nicklaus are especially renowned.


She has also had an extensive career on the Danish and international concert stage. Her work including recitals, concerts and oratorio. Throughout her singing career, she has often appeared on radio and television and she has made many recordings.
Kirsten has always been teaching as well as pursuing her singing career and she was for several years a member of the teaching staff at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, before she was appointed as a Professor and Head of the Department for singing in 1996.
She has given many Master-Classes and courses and has taught a great number of Scandinavia’s professional singers.
